LUXURY
LOG HOMES
| Made
from red cedar logs imported from North America, the three-storey,
three-bedroom Log Home has a gross floor area of 590 square
meters, set over a lot area of 250 square meters. Prior to importation,
the logs are kiln dried and specially treated against wood pests.
To further protect the unit from adverse weather conditions,
red cedar hardwood is used for the flooring and clay shingles
for the roofing. Double-glazed perma-shield aluminum picture
windows, fitted with fir wood insets, contribute to the excellent
acoustics of each Log Home. |
 |
On
the ground floor, one will find a foyer (which leads to a den),
expansive living and dining areas, and a powder room. The living
and dining rooms lead outside to an open-air balcony that wraps
around the whole posterior area of the home. The ground floor
also features a gas-fed fireplace, spacious kitchen, maid’s
room with toilet and bath, utility room, and an automatic-gate
garage that can fit two cars. Driver’s quarters are housed
in the garage. |
| Wooden
stairs lead up to the second floor, where the master’s
bedroom and two other bedrooms are located. An open walkway
fronting the bedrooms provides an unobstructed view of the living
and dining areas below. |
| The
master’s bedroom offers a breathtaking view of the pine
forest through a glass sliding door that opens up to a balcony.
A large walk-in closet leads to the toilet and bath, which has
an enclosed shower, an enclosed toilet and bidet, a bathtub,
and a sit-down sauna. It also has a truly unique feature —
its own fireplace. |
 |
| The
two other bedrooms have their own walk-in closets and toilets
and baths. All bedrooms have large picture windows to maximize
the view of the golf course and the forest. |
 |
Wooden
stairs lead up to the loft, which has its own toilet and bath.
In all, there are 7 rooms, each with their own private toilet
and bath.
The
Log Home is guaranteed not to leak at the seams. This is due
primarily to the use of half logs, which sandwich an insulated
wall to ensure that water does not seep inside. The same insulation
also maintains the desired temperature inside the unit.
